A BIT OF ME (ME) — DANCING TUNES

In today’s segment of A Bit of Me (Me), hosted by There’s A Book, we get to follow our bliss as it leads us to our dancing selves.

Today’s Question:

WHAT SONG MAKES YOUR TOES TAP?

For a few seconds, I thought…hmm.  Sometimes I have a hard time conjuring up those dancing images, since I haven’t danced a lot lately.

But then I recalled when I was dancing in my dining room to the sound of my CD from Mama Mia. My very favorite piece on the whole soundtrack was Dancing Queen.

And when I put this CD into my cute little miniature jukebox, I’m dancing all over the place! What a sight to behold…LOL.  But it’s good cardio exercise.

Miniature Jukebox -- Dancing Tunes!

Now that we’ve opened up this topic, I think I’m going to turn it on now and dance away the ice cream I ate last night!

What gets your juices flowing (music wise!)?  I hope you’ll stop in and share.

  1. We rented Mamma Mia a few weeks ago and I must admit that singing along with all the songs was too much fun. Also made me hunt down all my ABBA CDs and copy them to my laptop 🙂

  2. I love ABBA! Well, and basically anything from show tunes. During high school I was in choir and addicted to musicals & anything with a really good beat. Great choice!

Isn’t it fantastic how the right music can just get you in a wonderful mood? I’m definitely one that goes through fazes of funkiness and I know without a doubt that music gets my toes tapping and my mood lifted. It’s fabulous!

    1. Well, it’s never too late, J. Kaye! Since the critics hadn’t given it much of a rating, I wasn’t expecting much. But I always enjoy watching Meryl Streep. I was stunned by how much I loved it, especially the songs; and I’m not usually a fan of musicals.

I liked it enough to buy the DVD.
