Welcome to another family moment: Cat Thursday, hosted by Michelle, at The True Book Addict.
What? you may ask. Cats are family? Well, anyone who has cats knows this to be true. So as I blog daily for NaBloPoMo this month, I will definitely include cats in the family category.
Yesterday, as you may recall (if you read the post!) was my youngest grandson Noah’s eighth birthday. So naturally, the cats were part of this occasion.
Here’s Stewie, looking all golden-eyed (kind of scary, if you ask me!), probably wondering where his cake was. Janis Joplin was hiding out somewhere and would not come out for her photo op.
I would have liked him to sit next to the birthday boy, but he was unusually skittish and wouldn’t cooperate.
BTW, the brownie cake was DELICIOUS!

What can I say? Grandson and Stewie from afar are just “plain” wonderful. For some reason today I am using the word “plain” over and over. Stewie is definitely not plain. Gorgeous eyes.

Stewie and Janis Joplin are both great cat names! Stewie is a little scary with the glowing eyes, but looks like a cuddler!
