Welcome to A Bit of Me (Me), hosted by There’s A Book.   Here we share bits and pieces of our “real” lives, but occasionally, and in today’s post, we zero in on books again.

This Weeks Question: Because BEA is happening I’m breaking the “no book rule” and asking you to share your top 3 books you are looking forward to reading in the coming year.

Here are three books I’ve been drooling over enough to have preordered them from Amazon.
The Leftovers, by Tom Perrotta (coming in August)
Never Knowing, by Chevy Stevens
Now I’m really eager to grab each of them, but they won’t be coming for awhile…sigh.
What are you drooling over?  What books set your heart racing?  Please come on by and share!

  1. We will have to compare notes on Never Knowing and the other 2, those are new to me so will wait for your reviews. If you think that they are a 4/5, they will be going on my “is it possible I will ever be able to read all my tbr books” lol. Thanks for visiting and have a great Memorial Day Weekend.

    1. That sounds like a plan, Cheryl. I am very excited about all of these books…and no, I don’t think we’ll ever read all the books on our wish list. Maybe our real stacks.

Thanks for stopping by, and have a great weekend!

  2. Oh! First of all, love the new look on the site Laurel! Second, love these picks! I’m not familiar with the second choice, other than I saw it on Cheryl’s site earlier, but the others I’m really curious about. Especially the Lisa Unger book, I have another of hers that I haven’t read yet. Hmmm…

    Great picks!

    1. Thanks for the kudos on the site, Danielle. I got tired of my lengthy blog name…LOL

Oh, and the second one is by the author of Still Missing that made such a splash last year. The author of The Leftovers also wrote Little Children (made into a movie with Kate Winslet).

      Thanks for stopping by.

Please leave your thoughts. Comments, not awards, feed my soul. Thanks!
