As we begin our holiday weekend, let’s spark a bit of creativity. Our own special fireworks. Today’s sparks come because of our Saturday Snapshot event, hosted by Alyce, At Home With Books.
Just post one or more photos captured by yourself, family, or friends…and link up.
Today I’m sharing photos of my niece Amy’s children.
She was born on September 11, 2008, so she is aptly named “America.”
Here is a shot with her brothers, Luc and Gavin.
I love spotlighting family moments. They capture times that can never be retrieved in real life, but live on in our memories.
What exciting photos are the rest of you sharing today? I hope you’ll stop by and share.
America…I love that. She should be very proud of her name! Great photos and beautiful scenery.

Great photos, and I like the story behind America’s name! My youngest is a September 11th baby too. It’s nice to have something to celebrate on that day.

Yes, I like how that all came about…and in addition to the tribute to the country, her name is kind of a combination of her mother’s and father’s (Amy – Rick).
Thanks for stopping by, Alyce.
