Sparks are flying around the blogosphere again today, as we join in with Alyce, At Home With Books, to showcase our Saturday Snapshots.
To play, just grab a photo you’ve snapped, or one by family/friends; link up at Alyce’s blog and start visiting the other blogs.
Today I’m shining my spotlight in a couple of different places: one, I’m sharing a shot of my granddaughter Fiona with her nephew Logan, followed by another of her nephew Maddix; then I’m sharing a little of my Christmas decor.
I like to think of those times when I first enjoyed that Santa…my kids were little then.
Many memories over the years. Nostalgic moments.
What are you featuring today? I hope you’ll come by and share.
Great pics Laurel! Love that one of Maddix!

It looks like Fiona is a fabulous aunt! Your decorations are gorgeous. We don’t have much spirit this year, so all we’ve done is put up a tree.

She is very good with the little ones. Even her youngest cousins. Thanks for stopping by, Kathy, and I’m glad you liked the decorations. I didn’t put everything out this year, since it’s so much trouble to put them all back afterwards! lol

They look like sweet kids. 🙂 And those ornaments! I see two big ceramic ones? I like real craftsmanship like that. 🙂

Oh, those ornaments are created by Jim Shore (Enesco), and I found them in a little shop that has since closed down due to the economy. But they’re still online.
The kids, of course, were created by love…lol
Thanks for stopping by, smellincoffee.

Time to get the Christmas decorations out… I know, I’m late. I like the festive borders you have on the photos.

Thanks, Leslie…I found those on Picnik.com. Love that site.
I wouldn’t have the Christmas decorations out this early if they weren’t relatively simple to do. I have them in the garage in see-through bins, and this year, I didn’t even bring everything out.
Glad you could stop by, and enjoy your decorating!

Oh, I know, Alyce! Maddix looks a lot like his daddy did as a child. I first met him and his two brothers when their mother married my son. They grew up for several years next door to me.
Now it’s hard to believe that two of those boys have sons of their own!
Thanks for stopping by.

I think that’s my favorite part of Christmas…remembering when and where I got the decorations. I especially loved the ones the kids made in school, but they took most of those with them…sigh.
Thanks for stopping by, Annie.

Thanks, Irene…I just finished reading a book about hoarding—and since I have a lot of stuff, but consider them collections and nicely arranged, therefore I can’t be a hoarder—it’s nice to hear when someone likes the decor. lol
Glad you could stop by, and I loved your photo, too.

I got that idea about the photo ornaments when a friend bought some from Amazon and reviewed them. So I ordered mine (this was a couple of years ago). Thanks for stopping by, Lady In Read, and enjoy your weekend.
