Welcome to another creative opportunity to showcase photos, via our weekly Saturday Snapshot event, hosted by Alyce, At Home With Books.

Today I’m sharing photos of last Saturday’s get-together with family.  My son Brett, who lives in LA, was the only one of my kids there, but for the first time in several years, all seven grandchildren attended!

Here are a few samples of the fun moments we had.  We went to Marie Callender’s, which the kids enjoy; and our long table took up the width of the dining room.  I think they seated only a couple other groups in the same room with us.  Probably because they thought we might be rowdy.

The first one shows three of the teens:  L to R:  Aaron, Alec and Dominic

We had a nice, clear day last Saturday.

Today, however, was a bit rainy…..

A Rainy Day

A Rainy Day

It’s supposed to rain all weekend.  I plan to visit a lot of blogs…and do some reading.  Now I’m off to see your featured images!

  1. It looks like you had a great family get together. They seem like a happy bunch. Thanks for stopping by my post earlier and i hope the rain doesn’t spoil your weekend too much.

  2. What a beautiful family you have! Seven grandchildren is amazing and you can tell they are all related! How wonderful that they could all come together. I hope you had a great day and you get plenty of reading time this weekend. 🙂

    • It’s been at least four years since all the grandchildren were with me at once; as for my grown kids, that happens less and less frequently. I seem to meet with one or two at a time!

      Thanks for stopping by, Leslie.
