CREATIVE SPARKS: SATURDAY SNAPSHOT — FAMILY MOMENTS IN LA — FEB. 9

163Welcome to another creative opportunity to showcase photos, via our weekly Saturday Snapshot event, hosted by Alyce, At Home With Books.

Today I’m sharing some more photos of my LA grandchildren.  Spotlighting some moments in their everyday lives.  For example, navigating the freeways of LA is a normal everyday activity.  And sometimes they stop at a drive-through for something to eat or drink.

Sometimes friends have to part, and goodbyes are also an inevitable part of normal life.

  1. I’ll keep an eye out for them while I’m navigating the freeways of L.A. … something I am doing less and less of now that we’ve settled into the heart of the city in the mid-Wilshire district.
Thanks for visiting me; you’re right about the fruit and food stands shaped like organges, burgers, ect … that’s programmatic architecture at its most iconic!

    • I kind of miss those iconic stands…but once in awhile I see an abandoned one by the side of the road. And when I posted the “commuter” photo, I thought of you, knowing you live in the Southland. Thanks for visiting, Sim.

  2. That is great that someone (would that be you?) always has a camera handy to catch these moments. I wish I had more old photos to bring some of the forgotten memories back to light.
