Welcome to another creative opportunity to showcase photos, via our weekly Saturday Snapshot event, hosted by Alyce, At Home With Books.
With spring in the air, those outdoor chores are calling to some of us. Here’s what my second son Brett was doing a couple of weekends ago. Cleaning out the garage.
In another part of the world, my oldest son was trying to celebrate in a spring-like manner, but with snow all around.
Then…back in LA, my eldest grandson is enjoying a view.
And a few weeks ago, granddaughter Fiona celebrated her sixteenth birthday at her new home in Texas. Missing you, girl!
So that’s it for this week…from the past to the present, from California to Texas to Germany.
Great pictures — what a beautiful family you have! We must be making the rounds at the same time, just saw your stop by my Snapshot post — thanks! Happy Saturday!

That large green bin is what we’d need if my husband could clean our workshop. 🙂

I had to laugh, as I’ve often thought that my son’s garage was a bit out of hand…lol
I spent the morning cleaning my patio and snapped shots of the before and after.
Spring does bring out that urge, doesn’t it? Thanks for stopping by, Carolyn.

Nice variety of activity! I can relate to the snowy day BBQ. This winter is never going to end.

I had to laugh at the photo, at the snow and the Hawaiian print shirt; a very optimistic approach. Thanks for visiting, Leslie, and enjoy your upcoming spring.

I had to chuckle a bit when your first sentence said spring is in the air. I’ve been driving around on slushy, snow-covered roads today…and it’s still falling. Definitely not spring here in Michigan. 🙂

Yes, I think so, too, Cheryl; you can take the California boy out of California, but you can’t take California out of the boy…or something like that!

I was so inspired by my son’s big chore that I finally cleaned off my patio (covered with leaves!). Not as big a job as his, though. I’ll have pix next week.

Such lovely photos! Cleaning doesn’t call to me all that often (don’t get me wrong, I do it, it just doesn’t call to me). 🙂
