Welcome to our regular feature, Saturday Snapshot, our opportunity to showcase photos we or friends and family have captured.  The event is now hosted by West Metro Mommy.

With Christmas behind us, I would love to share a few more mementos of the season before saying goodbye.  Here is what you see when you first enter my holiday home.

And as a nod to the upcoming New Year, I have rearranged my office space.  I moved the table that had been standing in as a desk to its new home (above), and placed the drop leaf table (below) in its place.  Here’s one view:

    1. I like those, too, Louise…and I almost forgot to bring them out this year! I’ve been bringing out fewer things from the bins in the garage…lazy? But then I realized that they were necessary. (Even though I only released two of the three!).

      Thanks for stopping by!

    1. Yes…I like using things in different ways….but I’m glad I moved the bigger table out to its previous use as a dining table.

The little drop leaf table has had many incarnations in my home. Thanks for visiting, Fran, and enjoy your weekend.

  1. You’ve created a festive home. My husband and I have been collecting holiday knickknacks, but are waiting until we have our own place to decorate during the holidays. One day…. 🙂

    1. Oh, it’s great to look forward to collecting treasures for your home. I collected a lot over the years, but my daughter has most of those and I have a new batch. But there are still a few leftover (favorites) that I cherish. Thanks for stopping by, Allison.
