CREATIVE SPARKS: SATURDAY SNAPSHOTS – FROM ZOMBIES TO “FENG SWAY”

Welcome to our regular feature, Saturday Snapshot, our opportunity to showcase photos we or friends and family have captured.  The event is now hosted by West Metro Mommy.

After missing a week, I’m back with more creative sparks from my kids and grandkids.  Let’s begin with my eldest son’s features.

Here’s one about the Zombie Walk in Berlin...click the link for more info. from an article he wrote; then enjoy one of  my son’s shots.

And a shot that spotlights Berlin Start-Ups.

Now…on to my second son, Brett, who had the pleasure of chatting with Brian Wilson:

Meanwhile, eldest grandson, Alec, spent some time in San Francisco with friends:

Back in Berlin, at Craig’s flat, he did a little Feng “Sway,” as he calls it, with the keyboard, a quirky lamp, and the old time piano photo above the modern version:

And that’s some of what we’ve been up to in our family.

As for me, I’m just reading and blogging…and in commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of JFK’s Assassination, here’s an excerpt from my book Chasing Stardust, in which some of the characters mourn his passing.

  1. Fun shots! Watch out for those zombies though, they can sneak up on you. 😐

Lots of Kennedy programming on the tube the past few days. I’ve been watching a lot of it and learning some new things. I didn’t realize so many documents had been released to the public which is fueling new conspiracy theories. Fascinating stuff.

      1. Yeah, 50 years seems like such a long time ago. I was pretty young when it happened but I still remember going home from school for lunch and finding out what had happened. All the TV shows had been interrupted including the Bozo Show, which I always watched while I ate. I said I was young! 🙂
