Sparks are flying around the blogosphere again today, as we join in with Alyce, At Home With Books, to showcase our Saturday Snapshots.
Today, I’m remembering a special trip our family took in 2008 to Sedona, Arizona.
I fell in love with that mystical, beautiful place the year before during a trip there with a friend.
Red Rock Country is just one of the many beautiful aspects I enjoyed.
Now I can’t wait to see what the rest of you are showing today.
Happy St. Patrick’s Day!Ā Wish I had some leprechauns to show!
So beautiful – it’s one place I’d love to visit. The color of the rocks is just amazing.

I loved the Sedona area … the red rocks were just beautiful! I visited a friend also in the Phoenix area and we spent a day and evening walking off into the rock formations … what stars, huh?

I didn’t realize this until my first night there…they have this thing about no street lights to avoid “light pollution,” which, of course, allows us to notice the stars.
Thanks for stopping by, Susan, and enjoy the weekend.

Those are lovely. I particularly like the last one – the contrast of the rock against the blue sky is beautiful.

Beautiful. Amazing the difference in landscape in this country. It’s most flat and rolling for hundreds of miles here in the Midwest.
