Welcome to another creative opportunity to showcase photos, via our weekly Saturday Snapshot event, hosted by Alyce, At Home With Books.
Today I’m spotlighting a few more European photos…plus a shot of the Three A’s on the first day back at school.
Now I’m eager to see what the rest of you are featuring….
Yup, first day of school. At least they look pretty happy about it 🙂 Those London phone booths are pretty iconic, aren’t they? I wonder how much use they get anymore with all the cell phones around.

I hope they don’t take them down! They definitely are part of the scene. Thanks for stopping by, Trish…and after that European trip, I think the kids are ready for school.

Cute pic of the children going back to school pic. Oh! School started in our little town last week. The last few days were cut short because of the hot weather, and the schools have no A/C. I love your field of flowers, and the famous phone booths in London. You know come to think of it, I never seen public phone booths around in our area anymore. I guess cell phones put them out of business.

Yes, the only phone booths I see around here are trashed…some covered with graffiti. I hope the London ones don’t suffer that fate. Thanks for stopping by, Ann, and I also love that back-to-school time.

Love those Red phone booths! I’ve heard (and seen somewhere on the internet) that some of the smaller towns/villages are turning their red phone booths into mini- book exchanges. Here’s an article that you might like about it: http://digitaljournal.com/article/317021.
Here’s my Snapshot.

I can’t get over how tall the youngest one has gotten! He may end up passing up the oldest one. Thanks for stopping by, Alyce, and I am so thrilled that they got to go on such a great trip with their dad, and meet up in Paris with their Berlin uncle.

Back to school already? School starts next week for children here in Ontario. Love those red phone booths. Brighter and more attractive than our grey and glass ones.

I can’t get over it either, Carolyn….when I was a kid, we always started after Labor Day. These days, the kids start earlier and earlier. My other granddaughter started the second week in August. Thanks for stopping by.

Love the field of flowers! Phone booths are a rare find nowadays where I live. The three A’s look very happy to be going back to school! Probably most excited about seeing their friends they missed over the summer.

Definitely! They are very social, and even though they do lots of things during the summer, there is just something about connecting at school. Thanks for visiting, Vicki.

Ahhhh, the bright red phone boxes. Even if wired phones go extinct London will still need to keep the iconic red boxes least they disappoint tourists the world over!
I’m finding it difficult to believe school has started already but yes, it has. Time flies!
