Sparks are flying around the blogosphere again today, as we join in with Alyce, At Home With Books, to showcase our Saturday Snapshots.
Even though the past several days have been rainy ones, there were spring moments in recent weeks. And today’s snapshots are reminders of the spring.
Here are two more photos of Fiona enjoying spring days and nights.
I like the alliteration of that…Fiona in a field of flowers.
And here’s Fiona trying on a dress for the prom. She has a quirky sense of style that I enjoy.
Now I can’t wait to see her all “glammed up” with the dress and a hairstyle befitting it.
What are the rest of you showcasing today? Come on by and share your links….
I love the alliteration as well as the photo. Thanks for sharing!

Every week, I see something new in photos of Fiona….I don’t have as many to share of the other grandkids lately, but I’ve captured them in my header today. Thanks for visiting, Diane, and enjoy your weekend (and the room we’ve envisioned for you from your snapshot!).

Ha what a great dress! Love it. The filed of flowers looks like the cover of a Fleetwood Mac album 😉

Thanks, Staci….I was totally surprised by her choice of a dress until I thought about it. She loves anything quirky or unique. And I love her name, too. Her mother chose it because of a movie about Ireland, in which the female character is named Fiona. It totally suits her.

A lot of it is proximity, of course, and I think we bond more to the ones we see a lot. Three of the others live several hours away.
Glad you could stop by…and enjoy your weekend.

I thought about those “flower child” times, too, when I saw this photo. I created a “sixties” themed blog header from this one and a couple of others; soon I’ll be featuring that header here.
I wouldn’t have thought of this dress for prom, but it fits Fiona’s personality….
Thanks for stopping by, Kathy…have a great weekend!

The first photo looks like something you’d find in a shoebox from the 1960s. Love it. Also, the bow tie on the penguin makes that dress. 😉

It’s great that she’s comfortable with being quirky. So many teenagers aren’t. My boys are off to prom next weekend. One went traditional with black and white, while the other went with white and purple! Can’t wait to see them. Here’s Mine
