Welcome to another creative opportunity to showcase photos, via our weekly Saturday Snapshot event, hosted by Alyce, At Home With Books.
I got a new scanner/printer/fax yesterday (to connect with my new laptop), so I was scrolling through photo albums for older pictures. Here’s what I came up with.
And here’s one that is new….my office space with the new addition.
Now I’m eager to see what the rest of you are sharing today. Enjoy the weekend!
Great collection today Laurel. I’m sure you will enjoy your new office space.

Fab family photos. Laurel-Rain.
Reminded me that I need to scan a few pics for Friday. My eldest is 18 and it is an opportunity not to be missed – baby photos on facebook 🙂

Yes, I am glad to be able to scan some photos….I am saddened when I see how some of the snapshots in the albums are fading. Barring a computer crash, they are safer there. Which reminds me to grab my flash drive to back up some more of them!
Thanks for visiting, Carol…loved your wedding shots.

Definitely my favorite winter thing. Probably because snow is not a regular part of our lives. We always had fun at Big Bear. Thanks for visiting, Eugenia.

Yahoo! New technology enables us to really look back at the older photos! I wish I could get high quality prints of my jpg’s but my cheap kodak printer just doesn’t do them justice! Lucky you! have fun!

I am using a former dining room table as my main desk…and the (former) computer desk sitting perpendicular to the table holds books, a calculator, etc.
I was very happy to get the scanner so I could grab some more old pics. Thanks for stopping by, Sharon.

Not that they are nearly as difficult as they could be!

I’ve been having fun with a scanner this month, too, as I’ve been participating in a memoir challenge. It’s been great sorting through old photos and being able to do something with them.

Great shots! While I’m not sharing them today I know that somewhere in a plastic box I have pictures of my son and husband playing in the snow at Big Bear too. Southern California does offer such a myriad of possibilities doesn’t it?

Oh, I absolutely love Big Bear! For a few years, my second son (father to the A teens) had a cabin there. After he sold it, I realized how much we were all going to miss it. Thanks for visiting, Sim.

I’m sure that I wouldn’t be so enamored of snow if I had to deal with it regularly. Thanks for visiting, Lisa.

I am quite fond of that name, too, Colleen; she is named after her part Irish heritage, although I think Fiona is also Scottish and English.
