CREATIVE SPARKS: SOME OLD & NEW THINGS — OCT. 13

Welcome to another creative opportunity to showcase photos, via our weekly Saturday Snapshot event, hosted by Alyce, At Home With Books.

I got a new scanner/printer/fax yesterday (to connect with my new laptop), so I was scrolling through photo albums for older pictures.  Here’s what I came up with.

Newborn Fiona – 1997

Siblings at Play – Dominic and Fiona – 1998

Snow Play – Big Bear fun for Alec, Aubrey, and Aaron – with cousins

And here’s one that is new….my office space with the new addition.

Now I’m eager to see what the rest of you are sharing today.  Enjoy the weekend!

    1. Yes, I am glad to be able to scan some photos….I am saddened when I see how some of the snapshots in the albums are fading. Barring a computer crash, they are safer there. Which reminds me to grab my flash drive to back up some more of them!

Thanks for visiting, Carol…loved your wedding shots.

  1. Yahoo! New technology enables us to really look back at the older photos! I wish I could get high quality prints of my jpg’s but my cheap kodak printer just doesn’t do them justice! Lucky you! have fun!

    1. I am using a former dining room table as my main desk…and the (former) computer desk sitting perpendicular to the table holds books, a calculator, etc.

I was very happy to get the scanner so I could grab some more old pics. Thanks for stopping by, Sharon.

  3. Great shots! While I’m not sharing them today I know that somewhere in a plastic box I have pictures of my son and husband playing in the snow at Big Bear too. Southern California does offer such a myriad of possibilities doesn’t it?
