This weekend is grandfinal weekend down under. The AFL grandfinal in Melbourne between the Sydney Swans & Hawthorn (go Swannies!). And the League grandfinal in Sydney between the Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs and Melbourne Storm.
Lots of families will be going, hosting BBQ’s or watching from the comfort of their own lounge.

Ah, yes, that “flying away” part. As they grow, they sometimes fly to far places. My eldest son has been living in Europe for more than a decade-and-a-half. We’ve had some visits, but it’s not the same.
Recently he connected with my son and his kids (in the top photo) when they were in Paris.
